Bending Cold Roll Sheet Steel

In general cold rolled steel sheet can hold tighter tolerances than hot rolled when machined or otherwise fabricated and provides a better overall surface finish.

Hot rolled material on the other hand doesn t have grains like cold rolled steel so its strength when bent does not vary with the grain direction.
