Then using a rubber dead blow hammer on a flat surface.
To flatten a body do one.

On a molecular level the increased heat causes the molecules of the sheet metal to become excited.
To make the metal straightening process easier fabricators often apply heat.
In the cut list right click the body and click flatten.
In order to counteract this stretch you have to be able to shrink the metal back to its original position.
No client wants a damaged piece of sheet metal.
If you use this method of storage you re asking for trouble.
The reason for this is that metal tends to stretch when it is bent.
The process of straightening metal is one that while seeming easy is actually a fairly difficult thing to do correctly.
Various mechanical forces can straighten the metal back into the proper shape.
Sheet metal stored in this way is harder to pick up easier to scratch while you re trying to do so and occasionally dropped.
Sheet metal isn t all that different from a car s bodywork so most methods which will remove dents from a car work for sheet metal.
One involves using a blow dryer or a paint stripper which emits heat to warm the metal of the dent.
In the featuremanager design tree select the part and click flatten sheet metal toolbar.
This is one of the main reasons why you should not store sheet metal flat on the floor.
In either the featuremanager design tree or the cut list right click the flat pattern feature for the part and click unsuppress.
